Garons (30) – DACHSER’s new logistics site is now operational! Developed by Faubourg Promotion and built by IDEC GRAND SUD, this project illustrates the strong synergy between two subsidiaries of GROUPE IDEC, united around a shared objective: supporting the growth of a leading player in transport and logistics in southern France.
A strategic location at the heart of European flows
Located at the junction of the A9 motorway (Barcelona–Lyon) and A54 motorway (Nîmes–Marseille), the Garons site benefits from a highly strategic logistics position.
In close proximity to Nîmes Camargue Cévennes Airport, this new hub strengthens DACHSER’s presence along the Mediterranean corridor and optimizes its flows towards Southern Europe and the Mediterranean basin.
A dynamic and rapidly growing economic hub
This project is part of an attractive business zone, where over one hundred companies from logistics, services, crafts and industry contribute to the area’s economic dynamism.
DACHSER’s arrival further confirms Garons’ structuring role in the economic development of the Gard region.
A modern, functional and sustainable building
The new logistics facility stands out thanks to a design combining performance, user comfort and environmental responsibility:
- Total surface area: 4,800 sqm, including 4,000 sqm of logistics space and 800 sqm of offices, with a 3,000 sqm extension reserve
- Energy performance: installation of rooftop photovoltaic panels for renewable energy production
