IDEC GRAND SUD recently concluded a new project with the DOMUSVI Group to build a nursing home and a senior citizens’ residence in Pau (64).
The new nursing home will have 65 beds, including 14 in the Protected Unit for Dependent Persons, and will be spread over three levels. This building will be adjacent to a Senior Services Residence with 30 studio and one-bedroom apartments distributed over two floors. These two buildings will be connected by a central single-level section to provide an internal passageway between the buildings.
The ground floor will host adapted living spaces that will be shared by the residents of this program, such as a restaurant, a lounge, terraces, a multipurpose games room, a clubhouse and a bar. The project will cover no less than 5,550 m². Work will begin next July and be completed in May 2024.
