New racing team facilities for IDEC SPORT
IDEC SPORT is gathering all the sports structures and partnerships within the same ecosystem. In parallel with the emblematic association with Francis Joyon in the world of sailing and various partnerships in team, individual and adaptive sports, IDEC SPORT also stands out with its racing team, which puts an LMP2 car on the starting line every year in the European Le Mans Series, as well as in its mythical event: Le Mans 24 Hours race. It will benefit from new infrastructures in the coming months at the gates of the Le Castellet Formula 1 racetrack.
A real estate complex covering nearly 3,500 m²
To begin with, construction of the extension will start in early December 2021 and will last for 10 months. This project, which spans 13,570 m² of land, will be developed around three buildings. The first building will be organized around a services area. The second building will focus on the mechanical activity, and the third building will feature an exhibition hall for classic cars. These three buildings will have direct access to the grounds of the Castellet racetrack, as well as direct access to the track.
13 months of work
Work began in October with the excavations, which will be followed in the next few weeks by the structural work, elevations and roofing up until March 2022. An initial early opening of the workshop area and services areas is scheduled for October 2022. Final delivery of the project is scheduled for late November 2022.
