A complex of 3 buildings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
This real estate complex spans a total of 3,500 m\u00b2 and includes 3 different buildings.\u00a0The first building is a workshop spread over one and a half levels. \u201cThe lower ground floor will be used to store mechanical parts and the upper level will house the main hall where the mechanical aspects of the race cars will be worked on<\/em>\u201d explains Pierre-Etienne.\u00a0The second building is dedicated to the administrative and engineering aspects and includes the staff premises.\u00a0The ground floor is dedicated to the offices of the IDEC SPORT team and includes changing rooms, a fitness room and a simulator room.\u00a0The first floor will include the CEO\u2019s office, a lounge and relaxation area.\u00a0The second floor is a furnished terrace of about 200 m\u00b2.\u00a0\u201cThe last building, called the \u201cb\u00e2timent de collection\u201d or \u201ccollection building\u201d, has a total of 80 parking spaces to store and preserve the sports cars and collectors\u2019 cars that owners entrust to the IDEC SPORT team.They will be able to pick them up and go to the Castellet racetrack via the direct access that the building offers to the track<\/em>\u201d explains Pierre-Etienne.\u00a0The roofs of the workshop and the collection building will be equipped with solar panels. All the energy produced by the solar panels will be sold to the French electricity board, EDF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt is a project in keeping with the spirit of the La Factory building, the IDEC AGRO & Factory headquarters in Rennes.The facades will be entirely clad with red facing bricks and the structure is made of reinforced concrete<\/em>\u201d explains Pierre-Etienne.\u00a0The interiors of the workshop and collection building will be given an industrial look with exposed steel framework and truss beams.\u00a0The walls of the lounge will be finished in red brick and the interior features such as the lighting fixtures will be reminiscent of the industrial spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The general earthworks began in October 2021.\u00a0The structural work on the office building began at the end of November and is now complete. \u201cWe still have the exterior walls of the upper section of the workshop and the floor and walls of the collection section to complete<\/em>\u201d explains Pierre-Etienne.\u00a0The framework inside the workshop will be erected in April and the framework for the collection building will be erected in May.\u00a0\u201cCompletion of the building envelope for the offices is scheduled for the beginning of May, whereas the building envelope for the workshop is scheduled for the end of May and finally, the building envelope for the collection part will be completed in June<\/em>\u201d.\u00a0Final delivery of this project is slated for December 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" IDEC GRAND SUD is supporting IDEC SPORT in the design and construction of its future building.This 3,500 m\u00b2 project will be located at the gates of the Castellet racetrack in…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":122016,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[61,13],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-703384","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","category-news-flux-grid-info-en"],"yoast_head":"\nArchitecture that reflects GROUPE IDEC\u2019s identity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
