Padel is experiencing impressive growth in France. In just a few years, this sport originating from Spain has attracted more than 500,000 players across the country, driving increasing demand for modern and accessible facilities. In response to this trend, numerous sports complexes are emerging, creating true lifestyle spaces centered around sport.
It is within this context that, on September 15, 2025, IDEC GRAND SUD signed a Contrat de Promotion Immobilière (CPI) to develop the Ventoux Indoor Padel complex in Aubignan (Vaucluse), on behalf of SCI Padel des Alpilles. After the design and preparation phases, the project has now entered its operational stage. With the construction start order signed on December 23, 2025, teams are fully mobilized, with delivery scheduled for the end of next summer.
A premium sports complex at the foot of Mont Ventoux
The future padel center will cover 2,286 sqm and will include:
- A hall with 6 padel courts
- A two-level clubhouse featuring a bar and snack area, two indoor pétanque courts, a relaxation area and a conference room offering a panoramic view of the courts
- A landscaped parking area with 38 spaces, complemented by outdoor facilities:
- 3 illuminated pétanque courts
- A 9-hole mini-golf course
- A dedicated area for a future multi-sports field
The architectural design, by Frédéric SARTORIUS, will highlight a “premium clubhouse” atmosphere, promoting conviviality and relaxation at the heart of the complex.

An integrated environmental approach
In line with GROUPE IDEC’s philosophy, the project integrates a strong environmental commitment.
A low-impact construction approach will be implemented to limit noise pollution and light disturbance
The roof will be equipped with a 374.4 kWp photovoltaic plant, enabling collective self-consumption and resale of surplus energy
Landscaping will prioritize local, low-maintenance plant species
Material selection will focus on durability, recyclability and reduced environmental impact
Construction began in early 2026 for an estimated duration of approximately nine months.
With the Ventoux Indoor Padel project, IDEC GRAND SUD confirms its commitment to supporting local stakeholders in the development of attractive and sustainable sports infrastructure, contributing to regional vitality and the growth of new sporting practices.
