IDEC GRAND SUD and DOMUSVI have already had the chance to work together on several renovation and construction projects for specialized accommodation for dependent elderly people.Following the success and DOMUSVI’s satisfaction with the completed projects, this group has once again placed its trust in the IDEC GRAND SUD teams to refurbish and build an extension to the “La Cépière” nursing home, located in Toulouse (31).

DOMUSVI is a group that specializes in providing care for the elderly in their everyday lives. For more than 35 years, the group has constantly grown, with operations in nine countries and over 400 residential care facilities. DOMUSVI develops and offers a complete range of services for seniors with residential care homes, senior residences, agencies providing assistance and home healthcare services.
Refurbishment and extension of a residence in Toulouse
The teams of IDEC GRAND SUD are in charge of refurbishing the “La Cépière” residence located in Toulouse (31). It is organized around 72 bedrooms with bathrooms, spread over two floors, as well as a kitchen that will be brought up to standard. The extension built by IDEC GRAND SUD will include 8 new bedrooms with their own bathrooms, as well as a new space dedicated to a laundry room.
Several phases of work
The work has the particularity of being carried out on an occupied site. At the end of each phase, residents must be transferred so that work can begin on the next phase. The first phase with the extension work started in October and will go on until June 2022. Regarding the refurbishment, work on renovating the existing bedrooms began in November 2021 and will run through to January 2023. The first five refurbished bedrooms were delivered in early January and residents moved into 11 additional bedrooms on March 14. The cleansing work on the kitchen was started at the same time as the refurbishment of the 12 bedrooms in the protected unit. The next delivery will be at the end of April.
