FAUBOURG PROMOTION has commissioned the teams of IDEC GRAND SUD to design and build several buildings in a business park dedicated to the automotive industry in Signes (83).The first phase of this project with the first building has just been delivered.
A joint success
FAUBOURG PROMOTION, the GROUPE IDEC subsidiary specializing in planning and development, is developing a business park comprising several buildings in the La Queue de Sartan mixed development area in Signes (83). The company assigned the design and construction of the park’s various buildings to IDEC GRAND SUD, a GROUPE IDEC subsidiary specializing in turnkey projects.
An initial building of 1,400 m²
This park is expected to eventually accommodate three buildings for commercial use that will span a total surface area of 4,026 m². As the park is located near the Le Castellet racetrack, where the French Formula 1 Grand Prix is held, all the buildings will have direct access to the track. This project, which is the first phase of this program, spans 1,423 m² and is organized around four different work packages, each spanning between 300 m² and 400 m². The commercial building is also designed to accommodate rooftop solar panels.
A first phase delivered
Work on the first building began in April 2021 with an extensive earthwork phase due to the composition of the Signes plateau, which is a limestone mass. Specific excavation techniques and methods to build the networks were employed. After 5 and a half months of work, the building was handed over a few days ago, marking the end of the first phase of this project.
